Make sure your network's WiFi signal operates on the 2.4 GHz frequency band.
The Urgegas device only operates on 2.4 GHz networks.
Access your modem's settings and disable the 5 GHz band. Then, connect your device, and then you can re-enable the 5 GHz band on your modem.
Make sure to set up your repeater with a different name than your main network.

Check that the silicone cover is not removed or misplaced. A user or pet may have moved or removed it.
Place the device on the smoothest or most cared-for part of the tank.
Clean the bottom of the tank so that it is free of debris (dirt, dust, rust, or other).
Make sure the device is perfectly aligned in the center from the side view.
Make sure the device is turned on.
Press and hold the button for 3 to 5 seconds until you hear a sound.
Wait until your device connects, this may take up to 20 seconds.
Move your device and your phone closer to your Wi-Fi modem for a stronger signal and faster connection.
If the area where you installed your device is far from your modem, you may need a Wi-Fi repeater or extender.
We recommend that you call your internet provider and request assistance to disable these configurations.
Some internet providers, such as Totalplay or Megacable, apply configurations to their modems that can block the connection with your device.
Re-link your device as you did the first time you installed it, using the new Wi-Fi password.
If your modem has been replaced with a new one, you must link your new modem to your Urgegas device.
Make sure that the internet speed you are receiving is optimal, and that the modem does not have disconnections. If so, contact customer service if necessary.
Move your modem to an area closer to the tank or remove elements that may obstruct the connection.
